            <description><![CDATA[<br />While developing songs for the Planetary Nightmare 
EP on a laptop I started using a gender bending vocal effect that 
allowed me to expand
the range of my musical personality.<span style="">&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Over time a collection of songs emerged from this
musical out of body experience.<span style="">&nbsp; </span><span style=""></span>These songs and

            <description><![CDATA[<br />There were many songs and musical ideas that didn't make it on the EP.&nbsp; We'll post some of our favorites in the weeks to come, starting with this one:<br />&nbsp; <br /><span class="mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-audio" style="display: inline;"><a href="http://www.planetarynightmare.com/The%20Way%20it%20Looks%20Behind%20My%20Eyes.mp3">The Way it Looks Behind My Eyes.mp3</a></span>&nbsp;was recorded on my laptop.&nbsp; It was inspired by a documentary released in 2006 called "The Ground Truth".&nbsp; At one point in the film a former U.S. soldier sings a song taught in basic training.&nbsp; I took the lyrics from that scene, put it in a different musical context and expanded on it.&nbsp; For me, writing the song was an exercise in seeing the world from the perspective of an other which, according to the film, is precisely what training for war tries to prevent<br /><p class="object"><object height="176" width="220"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/T6Wk6iol7Jk?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/T6Wk6iol7Jk?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="176" width="220"></object></p>]]></description>
